This year, the artistic director of the XXI BnB Festival will be Roman Puchowski. Among other things, the musician will oversee the Wojtek Seweryn Music Workshops (7–15 August)—the largest in Poland, with 19 classes. The lecturers will be Poland's most outstanding musicians: Krystyna Prońko, Jacek Jaguś, Artur Lesicki, Leszek Cichoński, Marek Napiórkowski, Jacek Królik, Marek Raduli, Roman Puchowski, Wojciech Pilichowski, Tomasz Grabowy, Bartosz Łęczycki, and Paweł Serafiński.
The program has been expanded to include speech therapy consultations led by Ola Sozańska–Kut, sound engineering workshops by Błażej Domański, combo sessions led by Tomasz Świerk, as well as workshops and lectures.
During the festival, audiences will be able to hear concerts by two outstanding musicians—Marek Raduli and Krzysztof Ścierański (11 August, 8:00 p.m.)
A special event will be a live concert by the “Pilichowski Band,” combined with a DVD recording session in the main courtyard of Kliczków Castle (12 August, 7:00 p.m.). It will conclude the musicians' concert tour promoting the album “Noise Live—concert at Trójka.”
As is traditional, a blues service will be held during the festival (13 August, 6:00 p.m.) at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Bolesławiec. The service will be followed by a concert by Dominika Michalak.
The Tadeusz Nalepa Blues Band Review will also be held. This year saw a record number of entries for the review—35 bands. The review will take place on 14 August at 3:00 p.m.
The final concert will begin after the review. Performers will include the “Hard Times” band from Kraków, Wojtek Garwoliński's “Driftin Sheep,” “Harmonijkowy atak” with Jacek Jaguś, and “Amnezja”—last year's review winners.
Jam sessions will be held every day during the festival in the castle courtyard. Professionals and young people attending the workshops will perform.
To get things off to a good start, the organizers have prepared a photo exhibition for the event's fans. On Wednesday, 29 June, at 6:00 p.m., the Municipal Library in Bolesławiec will display photographs summarizing the twenty-year history of the Blues nad Bobrem Festival.
