The project is another step toward modern and safe road infrastructure. The new street will be 288 meters long, with two traffic lanes and a 5-meter-wide bituminous carriageway. A 3-meter-wide pedestrian and cycle path is also being built, making the area more accessible for cyclists and walkers.

What will be built there?

The investment includes the comprehensive construction of road and technical infrastructure. In addition to the carriageway, unpaved shoulders, driveway accesses to properties and a modern drainage system with street inlets, inspection chambers and more than 320 meters of stormwater sewer lines will be built.

Another important element of the project is new energy-efficient street lighting – 16 lamps with LED fixtures will be installed along the road.

A utility duct and nearly 470 meters of lighting cable will also be installed.

The new infrastructure has been designed with functionality and the aesthetics of the area in mind. Driveway accesses to properties will be made of red concrete paving blocks, while the shoulders will be reinforced with stone aggregate.

How much will it cost?

The value of the section being constructed is PLN 1,800,000.

When will the work be completed?

The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2026. The contractor is ZIB ELTOR from Lubań, while investor supervision is provided by P.W.H.U. JAK-Bud Andrzej Prostak from Bolesławiec.

The construction of Hallera Street is part of a larger road infrastructure development program in the city.
