On 9 March 2026, the second edition of the first-aid competition for third-year students of secondary schools was held at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec under the slogan “Together we can do more – first aid without secrets”. The event was organized by the Wspierajmy Zdrowie Foundation, with St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec, Bolesławiec County and the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec serving as co-organizers. TELEWIZJA BOLESŁAWIEC provided media patronage for the event.

Fifteen teams from secondary schools took part in the competition, competing in two stages. The first was a written test assessing theoretical knowledge of first aid. The second part was practical: participants faced scenarios simulating real-life situations involving threats to health and life, requiring a quick and appropriate emergency response.

The competition was conducted by paramedics from St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec, who supervised the proceedings and the correctness of the emergency actions performed by the participants, assessing their accuracy and effectiveness.

After a fierce competition, 🥇first place went to the team from the Janusz Korczak Second General Secondary School in Bolesławiec, consisting of: Karolina Puzio, Szymon Maciejski and Bruno Lewandowski.

🥈Second place also went to a team from the Second General Secondary School in Bolesławiec, consisting of: Patrycja Bujak, Alicja Witek and Szymon Drohomirecki.

🥉Third place, following an exciting tiebreaker, went to the team from the Building Schools Complex in Bolesławiec, consisting of: Dawid Sawczak, Jakub Balacz and Wiktoria Kaniuk.

The competition was an excellent opportunity to test the students’ knowledge and skills, as well as to promote responsible attitudes and readiness to help others.
