The Municipal Police in Nowogrodziec reports that the phenomenon of illegal rubbish dumps is becoming an increasingly serious problem in the area of the Nowogrodziec Municipality:
Despite numerous appeals and reminders about the obligation to manage waste properly, cases of illegally dumping rubbish in forests, fields or along roads unfortunately continue to occur.
Last week, Municipal Police officers went to the Parzyce village district, where another illegal dump was located. The officers said: – Thanks to cooperation with the village head, we managed to clean up the area together and remove the accumulated waste. We sincerely thank the village head for her commitment and help during this intervention.
There is an appeal
from the Nowogrodziec Municipal Police:
(...) if you witness waste being dumped in places not designated for that purpose, let us not remain indifferent. Let us react and report such situations.
Every piece of information may help identify those responsible and prevent further cases of littering in our municipality.
