Bolesławiec criminal officers, as a result of ongoing operational activities, detained a 51-year-old man from Bolesławiec County suspected of a drug-related offence.

The detention took place while the man was driving towards a neighbouring county. As part of previously arranged activities, the officers stopped the vehicle for inspection. The inspection of the car confirmed the criminal officers’ suspicions.
In the boot, the officers found a plastic package containing marijuana, from which nearly 500 saleable portions could have been produced.
That was not all. Nearly 150 portions of methamphetamine were found in the 51-year-old’s pocket. At the man’s place of residence, the officers additionally seized several packs of cigarettes without Polish excise stamps.
The resident of Bolesławiec County has already been charged with possessing a significant quantity of narcotic drugs, an offence punishable by between 1 and 10 years in prison. He will also be held liable for an excise offence.
The prosecutor imposed preventive measures on the suspect in the form of police supervision.
