Dawid Barański, an MKS Bolesłavia athlete, cleared the bar set at 206 cm, recording the same result as the competition winner, Mateusz Posmyk. The final standings were decided by the number of failures at lower heights – in this respect, his rival proved minimally better.
The silver medal confirms the athlete’s very good form and is the result of consistent work under coach Paweł Wiśniewski. The result achieved in Rzeszów is a promising sign ahead of the upcoming outdoor season.
