Last Sunday, traffic police officers from Bolesławiec stopped a van driver on the A4 motorway who had ignored the speed limit. Officers: – In a place where the speed limit was 110 km/h, he was travelling at over 150 km/h.
That was not the end of it. The officers also checked the sobriety of the 38-year-old man from Lubelskie Voivodeship. The drug test showed that the man was driving under the influence of an intoxicating substance.
The police took the driver's licence away. He was fined for excessive speed, while he will answer before the court for the offence he committed.
He now faces up to 3 years in prison.
