– The duty officer at the Police Station in Bogatynia, while carrying out his daily duties, handling telephone reports, receiving visitors and monitoring the surveillance camera footage, noticed on one of the monitors a woman lying near the station entrance – reports Senior Staff Sergeant Łukasz Porębski from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – Seeing that the situation could pose a threat to her health and life, he stopped what he was doing and alerted the police officers inside the building.
The officers immediately went to the indicated location to check the woman’s condition. At the same time, a man entered the station and asked about the person lying outside.
After a while, the woman regained consciousness, but she was having trouble breathing. There was a suspicion that she might have choked. The officers cleared her airways, placed her in the recovery position and monitored her condition until the emergency medical team arrived. The spokesperson said: – The sudden loss of consciousness was probably caused by an epileptic seizure.
