On February 16–20, 2026, Poland will once again—this will be the 23rd time—observe the Week of Assistance to Crime Victims. Prosecutor Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska:
The District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra therefore announces that from February 16–20 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., at the building of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, as well as at the offices of the District Prosecutor’s Offices in Jelenia Góra, Kamienna Góra, Lwówek Śląski, Bolesławiec, Lubań and Zgorzelec, interested persons will be able to obtain free legal advice from prosecutors, assessors and prosecutor’s assistants on duty.
Spokesperson:
It should also be noted that victims may contact the appropriate prosecutor’s offices at any time—not only during the Week of Assistance to Crime Victims—where they will always receive professional help.
