On February 5, 2026, activities were carried out at the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec as part of the nationwide “Czadowa Straż” campaign conducted by the State Fire Service in cooperation with Radio ZET.
Bolesławiec officers:
During the campaign, residents could receive smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, while firefighters held talks on fire safety in residential buildings. Event participants learned about how the detectors work and how to install them correctly, and also received information about providing first aid and safety guides.
The Headquarters:
We remind you that preventive activities are conducted by the State Fire Service throughout the year as part of the nationwide “Czujka na straży Twojego bezpieczeństwa!” campaign. It is a long-term educational campaign aimed at increasing awareness of hazards and promoting the installation of detectors in homes and apartments.
And adds:
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are small devices that can warn of danger in time and save lives. We encourage you to install them and regularly check that they are working properly.
We thank all residents for taking part in the campaign and for their interest in safety.
