The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 3. At around 1 p.m., police officers from Lwówek Śląski noticed two men sitting on a bench in front of the police headquarters. At one point, the officers saw through the window that one of them had lost consciousness.
– The officers immediately ran outside, provided the man with first aid and called an emergency medical team to the scene – reports junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. – During the proceedings, it was established that both men were intoxicated and had earlier been put off the transport they were supposed to take back to their place of residence.
That was not the end of the matter. During the identity check, it turned out that one of them – a resident of Zgorzelec County – was wanted to serve a four-month prison sentence. The man was arrested. The other man, a resident of Jawor County, was not wanted and, after receiving assistance, was taken to hospital.
