Frost Changes BIO Waste Collection Rules | Gmina Gromadka

Persistently low temperatures have forced temporary changes to the collection system for BIO waste. Municipal services report that the contents of containers are freezing, preventing them from being emptied properly. As a result, biodegradable waste will temporarily be collected in bags rather than containers. Residents are asked to put the bags out on collection day in a visible and easily accessible place.

As stated on the Gmina Gromadka website:

Due to the prevailing low temperatures, we would like to inform you that BIO waste will temporarily be collected in bags rather than from containers. Because of the frost, the contents of the bins have frozen, making it impossible to empty them properly.

They add:

Please put out bags containing BIO waste on collection day in a visible and accessible place.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
