On February 2, after 7:00 a.m., the duty officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski received a report of a road accident that occurred on Majowa Street in Lubomierz.

According to the police officers' preliminary findings, a 46-year-old resident of Lwówek County, driving a Subaru, despite a court-ordered ban on driving motor vehicles, was travelling towards Oleszna Podgórska when he veered off the road, hit a streetlight and then crashed head-on into a tree.
Unfortunately, as a result of his injuries, the man died at the scene.
The police and prosecutor's office are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy. Officers:
