As it turns out, the arrival of a new Lotos group station has changed little in the local market. Almost all stations continue to offer fuel at the same prices. Fuel prices in Bolesławiec have traditionally been among the highest in Poland.
Currently, a litre of unleaded 95 costs PLN 4.09, a litre of diesel fuel PLN 3.69, and a litre of automotive gas PLN 1.79. The national average prices are, respectively: PB 95 – PLN 3.94, diesel – PLN 3.59, LPG – PLN 1.74.
Both PKN Orlen and Rafineria Gdańska justify the increases by citing rising crude oil prices on global exchanges and the złoty’s decline against the dollar and euro.
