In December last year, we wrote that Maciej Małkowski was dismissed from the position of deputy mayor of Bolesławiec (Kornel Filipowicz was appointed in his place). As it turns out, this is not the end of the significant personnel changes at Bolesławiec City Hall. On Wednesday, June 15, Wiesław Ogrodnik ceased to be deputy mayor and once again became president of the District Heating Company. Meanwhile, Józef Król, the former head of ZEC, took the president’s seat at the Bolesławiec Water and Sewerage Company.

It is not yet known who will become Piotr Roman’s next deputy. “It is difficult to say when a decision will be made in this matter,” Agnieszka Gergont, spokesperson for Bolesławiec City Hall, told us.

“I asked the mayor to allow me to return to the District Heating Company. He gave me a free hand,” says Wiesław Ogrodnik. “I prefer working at ZEC. I served as deputy mayor of Bolesławiec for four and a half years. That is enough for me.”

“I won a professionally prepared and conducted competition for the head of PWiK. The company’s supervisory board includes lawyers and business professionals, and during the competition they asked questions of a very high degree of detail,” Józef Król emphasizes. “I am leaving the District Heating Company with my head held high; several very important investments were carried out during my term. I continue to take on difficult challenges. I am prepared to work at PWiK, where I will use my knowledge and experience.”
