On June 11–12, the LZS Association Championships for younger juniors, juniors and U23 athletes in athletics were held in Słubice (Lubusz Voivodeship). The team representing the Międzyszkolny Klub Sportowy Bolesłavia won 8 medals (the club itself placed fifth in the country).

The gold medals for Bolesłavia were won by: Agnieszka Dalmata (discus throw) and Beata Dąbal (hammer throw). Both athletes are coached by Tomasz Markowski. Beata Dąbal also won two silver medals: in shot put and discus throw.

The bronze medals went to:
Maciej Chojnacki (coach: Ryszard Posacki) – 110 m hurdles
Grzegorz Szuszkiewicz – hammer throw
Bartosz Wróbel (coach: Małgorzata Markowska) – 1500 m
4 x 400 m relay (team: Marek Pławiak, Artur Polański, Hubert Erhardt and Bartosz Wróbel).

Meanwhile, the Samsung Athletic Cup took place in Kraków on June 12. MKS Bolesłavia sprinter Ewa Ochocka finished third in the women’s 100 metres. The athlete’s coach is Małgorzata Markowska.
