MKS Bolesłavia shines again at the provincial championships
MKS Bolesłavia athletes once again confirmed their strong position in Lower Silesia. During the Lower Silesian Indoor Championships in the U18 and U20 categories, they won a total of eight gold medals, as well as silver and bronze medals and a considerable number of personal bests. Their performance in Wrocław showcased consistent training and excellent form.
Gold medalists – Lower Silesian champions
The biggest star of the competition was Vanessa Michaluk (U20), who won double gold – she won the 60 m race (7.83 s) and the 60 m hurdles (8.71 s).
The other gold medalists were:
- Emilia Burmas (U20) – 400 m: 60.06 s (personal best),
- Antoni Karp (U18) – 600 m: 1:25.92 (PB),
- Jakub Khan (U20) – shot put: 11.18 m (PB),
- Antoni Pachnik (U18) – 2000 m: 5:55.19 (PB),
- Maksymilian Krzystanek (U20) – high jump: 180 cm (PB),
- Milan Gałka (U18) – high jump: 180 cm and 6th place in the long jump (5.14 m).

Lower Silesian runners-up:
- Jakub Foremny (U20) – 200 m: 22.45 s,
- Michał Psiuch (U20) – shot put: 10.46 m.
Bronze medalists:
- Wiktor Kijowski (U20) – 400 m: 52.14 s,
- Kacper Zefirian (U20) – 60 m: 7.08 s (PB) and 5th place in the 200 m (22.98 s PB).
High placings and personal bests
Many club representatives finished just outside the podium, often improving their best results:
- Maria Szczepańska (U18) – 4th place in the shot put (10.95 m PB),
- Bartosz Karpiak (U20) – 4th place in the 800 m (2:11.87 PB),
- Jagoda Nadarzyńska (U18) – 4th place in the 60 m hurdles (10.56 s PB) and 11th place in the 300 m (46.37 s PB),
- Hanna Momotiuk (U18) – 5th place in the 60 m hurdles (11.40 s PB),
- Franciszek Król (U18) – 7th place in the long jump (4.97 m PB),
- Justyna Sawczak (U18) – 8th place in the 600 m (1:57.10 PB),
- Hanna Strzelecka (U18) – 8th place in the 200 m (28.34 s PB),
- Lena Burdzy (U20) – 9th place in the 60 m (8.45 s),
- Danuta Kasperek (U18) – 15th place in the 200 m (30.03 s PB).
Successful performances at the accompanying meet
The following athletes also performed very well in the accompanying competition:
- Laura Kuszka – 300 m: 47.97 s,
- Lena Kureła (U16) – two personal bests: 60 m hurdles (10.01 s PB) and 300 m (46.56 s PB).
A wonderful weekend for the club
The performance in Wrocław was further proof that MKS Bolesłavia is systematically building a strong youth development program. The numerous medals, personal bests and high placings are the result of the athletes’ commitment and the coaches’ work. It was an exceptionally successful weekend full of sporting excitement for the club.
