In one of the settlements in Gromadka Municipality, a road incident occurred. Police:
The passenger car driver hit a woman who was walking along the roadside.
Police determined that the perpetrator got behind the wheel despite having been under a court-imposed driving ban since 2024, imposed in connection with driving while intoxicated. At the time of his arrest, the man had over 2‰ of alcohol in his system.
He was arrested by Bolesławiec police officers. After sobering up, he was charged.
The prosecutor placed the 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County under police supervision and imposed a ban on leaving the country.
The court will decide the suspect’s further fate.
