While driving, he lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch. Moments later, he was detained by the officers. The fugitive turned out to be a 33-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County.
The police established that the man did not hold a driving licence, was under the influence of alcohol, and that the car he was driving did not have the required third-party liability insurance.
The 33-year-old will now face the court for his actions. Police remind the public that failing to stop for a traffic check is a criminal offence punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
