The incident took place in the Nowogrodziec municipality. Command:
District officers from the local police station stopped a moped they knew for inspection. It turned out that the rider was known to them as well.
As the officers emphasize, the 46-year-old is a road offender and has as many as six active bans on driving motor vehicles. What is more, the two-wheeler did not have compulsory insurance or a valid inspection, and was additionally fitted with registration plates assigned to another vehicle.
Moreover, an on-site drug test produced a positive result, indicating that the man was driving under the influence of a narcotic substance.
The result? The 46-year-old was charged. He faces up to five years in prison.

This is another police intervention involving the man. At the end of 2025, another case against the Nowogrodziec resident concerning similar offences ended with an indictment.
The court will decide the fate of the man subject to the driving bans.
