Police officers from Bolesławiec are carrying out procedures concerning an incident involving a 17-year-old student at one of Bolesławiec’s secondary schools. During class, the teenager threw a chair at a teacher, violating her bodily integrity. Immediately after the incident, the 17-year-old left the school grounds.

Today, the resident of Bolesławiec County was charged with violating the bodily integrity of a public official—a teacher—resulting in impairment of the functioning of a bodily organ for less than 7 days. This offense carries a sentence of up to 3 years in prison.


The incident occurred on January 14 in the afternoon. A student of the Mechanical Schools Complex in Bolesławiec threw a chair toward a teacher.

The police were called to the scene. They confirm the incident and are investigating the case.
