The man was travelling by scheduled coach from Germany to Poland and presented a forged Bulgarian identity card for inspection.
The document aroused the officers’ suspicions—as it turned out, it was fake. Officers: – The foreign national explained that he had bought it for 1,000 euros, hoping to enter Poland illegally.
The man admitted to using the forged document as if it were genuine and voluntarily submitted to a sentence of four months’ imprisonment, suspended for one year.
What happened to the Turk? SG: – The 34-year-old was handed over to the German side under readmission procedures.
