The incident occurred on Thursday, 26 December 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., on Widok Street in Bolesławiec. An unknown perpetrator set a parked car on fire, causing serious material losses.
According to preliminary findings, a man was seen in the vicinity of the incident, approximately 180 cm tall, travelling by bicycle and carrying a backpack. This description may be important to the ongoing investigation.

A cash reward is offered for identifying the perpetrator. The victims are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has recordings from dashcams or surveillance cameras on private properties in the area of Widok Street from the morning hours of 26 December to come forward.
