Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec Police unit, who combat drug-related crime, detained a 24-year-old city resident. During a search of the man’s residence, police officers discovered marijuana. The seized quantity of the drug could have yielded approximately 300 doses.
The evidence collected confirmed that the detained man supplied the prohibited substance for financial gain.
The 24-year-old was charged under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction. We remind you that possession of narcotic substances is punishable by up to 3 years’ imprisonment, while selling them can carry a sentence of up to 10 years.
