On 11 December 2025, an agreement was signed at the Bolesławiec County Office for the comprehensive thermal modernization of the buildings of the Complex of Technical and Natural Sciences Schools at 18 Zgorzelecka Street. The work will be carried out by Beta Building Sp. z o.o. from Parowa, and the contract is worth PLN 4,975,000.
The document was concluded between Bolesławiec County, represented by Starost Tomasz Gabrysiak and Deputy Starost Patryk Hałka, with the countersignature of County Treasurer Joanna Drozdowicz, and Beta Building Sp. z o.o., based in Parowa, represented by proxy Jarosław Szelejewski.
The investment is being carried out as part of the strategic territorial instrument project ZIT ZOF, co-financed by the European Funds for Lower Silesia 2021–2027, under the measure:
“Energy efficiency in public buildings – ZIT.”
The project covers the modernization of both the school’s main building and the gymnasium. The planned work includes, among other things:
- insulation of walls and roofs,
- replacement of window and door joinery,
- modernization of the heating system (heat pump + gas boiler),
- installation of new radiators and part of the lighting system,
- installation of a photovoltaic system with energy storage units,
- installation of new sports flooring in the gymnasium,
- additional associated works improving the functionality and safety of the facilities.
The project will reduce the school’s maintenance costs, increase energy efficiency and improve user comfort. This is another investment by Bolesławiec County supporting modern, environmentally friendly educational infrastructure.
