On Thursday, December 11, inspectors from the Wrocław branch of the Lower Silesian Road Transport Inspection conducted inspections near the A4. ITD:

A mobile diagnostic line of the Voivodeship Road Transport Inspectorate was used for the inspections, enabling precise and detailed testing of vehicles directly at the place where they were stopped.

The result? Inspectors: – During the operation, numerous irregularities were found, including defects classified as dangerous.

These included, among other things:

  • leaks of operating fluids,
  • a broken wheel bolt,
  • significantly worn tires,
  • a missing fuel-filler cap,
  • lighting defects,
  • uncertain fastening of the interchangeable body to the frame,
  • excessive play in the suspension and steering systems.

The conclusion? ITD: – The most technically defective vehicles were taken off the road until the detected defects were repaired. For dangerous defects, inspectors initiated administrative proceedings against the businesses and the persons responsible for managing them.

As the inspectors emphasize, the aim of the operation was to improve road safety and remove from traffic vehicles posing a real threat to other road users.
