On the evening of May 31, in Bolesławiec, police officers attempted to stop a passenger car for a check. The driver did not stop and began to flee. The officers gave chase. At one point, the driver abandoned the car and fled. Police detained a 21-year-old woman, a passenger in the car. The vehicle had been stolen on May 29 in Żagański County. The driver was not apprehended. Police are still searching for him.
