We wrote about how residents are treated by officials of the rural Bolesławiec municipality in the article: How Mayor Janiec’s officials treat residents of the municipality’s new housing estate.
Despite Mayor Andrzej Janiec believing that the residents of his municipality do not read istotne.pl, it was precisely disgruntled residents of Rakowice, frustrated by official delays, who wrote to us. As a result of this contact, the mayor spoke personally with one of the residents of the new housing estate and arranged a meeting with the remaining residents, attended by a councillor and the village head.
We also received an official explanation concerning the way one of the officials communicated with residents. It was established that the official accused of telling residents “you built your homes on a swamp, so you have what you have” , was not dealing with this matter at all.
– The accused official participated only in activities related to the handover of the property, in accordance with the subject-matter scope of the department’s work – explained Edyta Jasińska on behalf of the municipality. – No one approached him about this matter. The department also received no complaints or letters concerning the issue described. Therefore, in accordance with his statement, the allegation presented is an unfounded misunderstanding – the official added in her response.
What happens next with the access road to the housing estate?

In the first half of this year, the road was reinforced with stone, for which PLN 12,000 was allocated. During the same period, design documentation for the road construction was also prepared, while at the end of October a permit to carry out the investment was obtained. In January next year, the preparation of the lighting design will be commissioned.
The lighting will be installed in 2026. The next stage will be the construction of an asphalt surface. All activities are being carried out in accordance with the adopted schedule.
