Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec stopped three men riding two-wheeled vehicles during the past weekend; each of them had violated traffic regulations. Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters:
A 65-year-old man was riding a scooter; the test showed 1.4 per mille of alcohol in his system.
And adds:
Moreover, in the Nowogrodziec municipality, preventive-policing officers caught two cyclists riding under the influence of alcohol—a 65-year-old man had 0.7 per mille, while a 51-year-old man had more than 1 per mille of alcohol.
Police remind the public that operating any vehicle—including a bicycle or scooter—under the influence of alcohol poses a threat to all road users:
We appeal for common sense and responsibility on the road. If you plan to drink alcohol, choose another way to get home and do not risk your own health or life, or that of others.
