Przemysław has been interested in riding motorcycles for several years. He has been training in stunt riding—spectacular motorcycle stunts—for less than a year. He rides a 1996 Yamaha BWS NG scooter.

“At this level, I think I’m the only one in the area; I haven’t seen anyone else,” says the 18-year-old, who trains every day in Warta Bolesławiecka. It is an expensive sport. Above all, you need a scooter or motorcycle, and you have to replace the fluids regularly and take care of your equipment and protective gear. Injuries are unavoidable with such acrobatics, although Przemysław says that it is a relatively safe sport. “During a two-hour training session, I sometimes fall off the machine several, and occasionally a dozen or so, times. Fortunately, I don’t reach high speeds, so everything is fine,” the young stunt rider laughs.

This coming Sunday, the 18-year-old will compete in a national competition in Bielawa. “I will compete in the non-regulation class, for engines with capacities from 50 to 125 cc. This is my first competition,” says Przemysław Fornal. He plans to compete in another event during the summer holidays.

We are keeping our fingers crossed and wishing you good luck on Sunday.
