Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified and arrested the man responsible for damaging the entrance doors to the PKP railway station building.
Police:
The incident occurred in the evening when the perpetrator, wanting to board a train, was unable to open the doors. In anger, he kicked them, causing damage estimated at more than PLN 2,500.
Officers add: – Once again, CCTV footage proved helpful, recording the moment the crime was committed. Thanks to the recordings and operational activities, officers established the identity of the man, who is from Bolesławiec and has been staying in Wałbrzych County for some time.
The 30-year-old was arrested and charged, to which he pleaded guilty. Damage to property is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
