During the night from Monday to Tuesday, at around 3:00 a.m., a patrol from the Bolesławiec unit stopped the driver of a van who was travelling along one of the streets in the city centre. Police:
The vehicle had registration plates from another voivodeship, but a resident of Bolesławiec County was behind the wheel.
During a check of the man's details, it emerged that he had as many as three active bans on driving motor vehicles issued by the District Court in Bolesławiec, as well as a decision revoking his driving licence. Officers: – The suspect may not drive a car until March 2027.
The 42-year-old was charged and faces up to five years in prison.
