The incident occurred this morning. – The woman went to the cemetery to visit her husband. Unfortunately, she fainted and fell – reports a Reader. – When I went out at around eight o’clock to visit the graves of friends and my parents, it turned out that someone was lying there.

The reader heard moaning. The approximately 80-year-old woman, tearful and helpless, was conscious. – She managed to call an ambulance herself – our informant explains. – But from what she said, she had already been lying there for more than an hour.

The man adds:

I think older people should be warned that in such conditions they should not go on such trips alone – when it is slippery and wet. An accident can happen easily. Besides, they go alone. That is probably not the best solution. Older people need to be protected.

(As we learned from the person who reported the incident, the woman’s husband had died recently. She went early in the morning to visit his grave).

🙏 Appeal / warning for older people and their loved ones

💬 We urge caution!

During the autumn and winter period, when it is wet, slippery and cold, accidents can happen easily.

Older people who are going to a cemetery or taking a longer walk should not go out alone – especially in the morning, when paths may be icy and there may be few people around.

If there are seniors in your family, offer to visit graves with them, drive them there and help them move across uneven ground.

Such gestures can protect their health and even save their lives.

🤍 Let’s look after our seniors – especially now, when every step can be a challenge.
