On Sunday, 22 May, a flower festival was held in Łaziska, organized by the village head and Village Council, the Parish Council, councillor Grażyna Łucka, the Sports Club and the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyn.

That day, the competition for the most beautiful bouquet was decided. The first prize went to the women from the Rural Housewives’ Association in Kruszyn. The housewives from Żeliszów came second. The women from Osiecznica took third place.

The following performed on stage: Jakub Kulpa and Magdalena Opała from Kruszyn; the girls from the Artistic Club in Brzeźnik, under the care of Krystyna Grela; the vocal group from Kraszowice, whose members are students of Bronisław Górecki; as well as the dance group from the Primary School in Ocice, whose supervisor is Agnieszka Michalczuk.

Folklore enthusiasts had no reason to complain either. The well-known Jutrzenka group performed that day. Performances by the Holy Flame band, consisting of Marlena Paszko, Maciek Przystarz, Łukasz Rogacki and Grzegorz Wełna, and vocalist Agnieszka Miszkiewicz, were a nod to the younger audience. The flower festival ended with a dance party that continued into the late hours of the night.
