The Municipality of Bolesławiec informed about the annulment of the tender procedure for the implementation of the second stage of the investment involving the expansion of the Water and Sports Centre at 24 Spacerowa Street.
The city intended to allocate PLN 40,067,000 gross for the task. Two bids were submitted in the tender:
- PLN 46,979,996.66 – TAMEX Obiekty Sportowe S.A.
- PLN 42,989,333.33 – a consortium of Nowak Mosty sp. z o.o. and COMPLEX Dąbrowa Górnicza sp. z o.o.
Both proposals exceeded the allocated budget, which provided grounds for ending the procedure without selecting a contractor.
The planned second stage included, among other things, the construction of artificial-turf pitches, changing-room and technical facilities, an event shelter, water slides, parking areas and additional recreational infrastructure, continuing the development of the complex begun in previous years.
The city has not ruled out announcing another tender after analysing its financial capabilities and the scope of the work. Details on the matter are expected to be presented at a later date.
