Bolesławiec criminal investigators and officers from the police station in Kruszyn established the identity of a man suspected of stealing two bicycles and a lawn mower. The police said: “The losses were estimated at more than PLN 4,000.”
The incident took place in Bolesławiec Municipality. The officers said: “The 39-year-old was arrested and confessed to committing the alleged offense, explaining that he entered an unfenced property under cover of night and took advantage of the fact that the belongings had been left there.
Furthermore, as officers from Kruszyn established, during the summer holidays the suspect also stole downpipes, causing losses worth several thousand złoty.
Steps are being taken to recover the stolen property. The suspect faces up to 5 years in prison.
