The incident occurred on 31 October. Firefighters:
(…) at 5:40 p.m., the duty officer at the dispatch centre of the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Złotoryja received a report of a head-on collision involving two passenger cars on provincial road 328 in Różana (Świerzawa municipality).
The vehicles were carrying three people. The passengers of the first car left the vehicle unaided. Officers: – The person driving the second vehicle had to be freed using hydraulic tools from the wreckage of the car, which was in a roadside ditch.
Three people were injured. An air ambulance helicopter operated by the Polish Medical Air Rescue service was dispatched to the scene and transported the person with the most serious injuries to hospital.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers appeal for prudence and caution on the road.
