All Saints’ Day. It is a day full of reflection, when candles are lit and flowers are placed on the graves of loved ones.
The police are keeping order on Śluzowa Street. They are assisted by the Military Gendarmerie. To make it easier for residents to reach the cemetery, MZK Bolesławiec has increased the frequency of its buses.
Since morning, vendors selling flowers and colourful candles have been appearing along the road leading to the cemetery on Śluzowa Street.
As usual, there are also stalls selling sweets, cotton candy and popcorn.
Entire families gather at the cemetery to remember their loved ones together and pause for a moment amid the rush of everyday life.
