During the City Council session, the president praised the development of St. Luke’s Hospital, managed by Kamil Barczyk. He described the development of the county facility as a snowball effect.
“We have several initiatives that should increase the hospital’s development momentum; one of them is the idea of merging the hospital in Bolesławiec with the hospital in Zgorzelec,” said Piotr Roman. “Then this hospital will become one of the largest hospitals in Lower Silesia. It will also be possible to provide services in two locations, namely in Zgorzelec and Bolesławiec. I am referring to ophthalmology and cardiology,” Piotr Roman added.
The director of the Zgorzelec Multispecialist Independent Public Health Care Facility is Zofia Barczyk—the mother of Kamil Barczyk, the director of the hospital in Bolesławiec.
