On Friday, May 13, the new sports hall of Municipal School Complex No. 2 hosted the third edition of the Safe Little One Olympiad, organized by the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. The aim of the competition is to develop the youngest participants’ awareness, familiarize them with basic road-safety rules, introduce them to first-aid principles, and foster environmental awareness.
The Olympiad is aimed at preschoolers. Twelve teams of ten took part in the competition. The events included a car race, a slalom relay (among other things, participants had to assemble a road sign from puzzles), a well-stocked first-aid kit, smart waste sorting, and firefighting. There were no losers. Every team stood on the top step of the podium.
