Yesterday, the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec hosted a ceremonial gala on the occasion of National Education Day, organized by Bolesławiec County. The event, filled with emotion, music and humor, expressed appreciation for all teachers, educators, school principals and education workers for their daily work, commitment and passion in shaping successive generations of young people.

During the gala, distinctions and awards were presented to the most meritorious teachers and principals of county schools. Among those honored were, among others, recipients of the Minister of National Education’s Award, the Lower Silesian Education Superintendent’s Award and the Award of the Bolesławiec County Board. Administrative and support staff were also recognized, as their daily work provides indispensable support for the functioning of schools and educational institutions.

There were also artistic performances prepared by I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec – the audience could admire performances by an intergenerational choir, instrumental ensembles, soloists and young dancers. The common theme of the performances was the message that education is not only about learning, but above all about relationships, inspiration and passion.

– On the occasion of National Education Day, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all teachers, educators and education workers for their daily effort, patience and dedication. We wish you job satisfaction, many successes, good health, and professional and personal fulfillment. May every day within school walls bring joy and the sense that your work has profound meaning – emphasized Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak.

The joint celebration at the Old Theatre was not only an opportunity to honor those recognized, but also a beautiful reminder that education is one of the most important pillars of Bolesławiec County.

Thank you to everyone who creates the exceptional world of Bolesławiec education every day!
