On the same day, in different municipalities, officers of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested perpetrators of various offences. The unit stated: – All of the drivers committed traffic offences while driving a vehicle; none of them should have been behind the wheel.
In the Gromadka municipality, police officers from the local station arrested a 35-year-old man whose driving privileges had been revoked. He faces up to 2 years in prison for the offence.
Community police officers arrested a 37-year-old driver on one of Bolesławiec’s streets, after a court had issued a judgment banning him from driving. Breaking the court-imposed ban carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison.
Meanwhile, traffic police officers in the Nowogrodziec municipality arrested a driver under the influence of alcohol. The police headquarters stated: – A test of the 29-year-old showed 0.7 per mille of alcohol in his system. In addition to losing his driving licence and facing financial consequences, he faces up to 3 years in prison.
Police announce: – Each of them will face criminal liability.
