Numerous attractions await visitors this coming Saturday. At the Ceramics Department on Mickiewicza Street, there will be demonstrations of methods for reconstructing, restoring and completing ceramic vessels originating from archaeological excavations. Demonstrations will take place at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A lecture entitled “Not Just Stamps. The Decoration of Ceramics Yesterday and Today” has also been prepared, accompanied by a multimedia presentation, at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

At the City History Department on Kutuzowa Street, visitors will be able to attend a presentation of the equipment and uniforms of infantry soldiers serving in Napoleon’s Army (presentations at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., as well as 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.). Visitors to the temporary exhibition “Meeting a Man. John Paul II in Medallic Art” will see a multimedia presentation prepared by students of the Mechanical School Complex under the supervision of Danuta Jasiukiewicz and Father Rafał Berezowski.

In addition, during Museum Night, all publications available at the museum shop will be offered at a discount of up to 50%. The Museum’s academic staff will be ready to provide everyone interested with information, guidance and expert opinions on events or objects connected with the history and culture of the city.

Both buildings of the city museum will be open to visitors free of charge on 14 May from 10:00 a.m. to midnight.
