A reader called us and informed us that for four days Egyptian darkness had prevailed in the Kwiatowe and Przylesie housing estates in Bolesławiec.
We asked the Bolesławiec municipal authorities about the matter. Here is the response:
On 7 September 2025, a short circuit occurred in the SON 46280052-Kwiatowe lighting cabinet.
The office adds:
The timer had no power and did not activate the contactors.
And adds:
The fault was located and repaired.
