The incident occurred on August 22 at 1:00 a.m. – Road traffic officers, while patrolling the city streets, noticed a woman driving a Toyota passenger car. Her driving style indicated that she might be intoxicated or under the influence of other illegal substances – reports Sub-Inspector Sylwia Serafin of the Lubin District Police Headquarters.
The officers stopped the woman for a traffic check. The spokesperson said: – When she opened the door, they immediately detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from her. After conducting a sobriety test, it turned out that the 35-year-old had 2.3‰ of alcohol in her system.
She added: – For driving a car while intoxicated, the officers confiscated the driving licence of the irresponsible woman from Lubin. The court will now decide her fate.
Police officers appeal for common sense and absolute sobriety among people who decide to drive motor vehicles. Such behavior can lead to tragedy on the road and carries serious legal consequences.
