The incident occurred on Thursday morning. – Police were informed that several cars parked on one of the streets in Legnica had been damaged. It turned out that the perpetrator had painted several cars with black paint – says Inspector Jagoda Ekiert of the Municipal Police Headquarters. – Officers inspected the scene, securing all traces that could help identify the perpetrator.
A plainclothes patrol set out into the area, checking the vicinity almost centimeter by centimeter.
Spokesperson: – The officers checked every street, patrolled every noticeable corner, and watched suspicious locations until the perpetrator was finally located and arrested.
The outcome? Due to his health condition, the 54-year-old was placed in an appropriate healthcare facility. He will then be charged with damaging property.
The crime carries a prison sentence of up to 5 years.
