For many years, a Biedronka store operated in the building located on Gałczyńskiego Street, in Bolesławiec’s largest housing estate. The market at 15 Gałczyńskiego Street (between the school and the church) was one of the first Biedronka stores in Bolesławiec.
It opened in the second half of the 1990s. At that time, it was called “Biedronka – grocery discount store,” and the word “discount” sounded English and few people understood it. Today, everyone associates Biedronka with the brand. The Biedronka store at 15 Gałczyńskiego Street was closed at the beginning of 2025.
The building is currently being renovated. What will be there? According to our information, the building will include, among other things, a veterinary clinic and service outlets, as well as even a health centre. A notice on the façade of the renovated building states that space is available for rent. What will ultimately be located in the building will become clear soon.
