The incident occurred on August 19, after 1:00 p.m., in Raciborowice. As determined by officers from Bolesławiec, the moped rider, a 50-year-old resident of Złotoryja County, lost control of the vehicle after failing to adjust his speed to the road conditions.
The result? He overturned into the opposite lane, hitting a passenger vehicle.
Fortunately, no one suffered any more serious injuries. The moped rider was fined PLN 1,100.
Officers appeal for caution and prudence on the road.
