The incident occurred on August 13, before 11:00 a.m., in Pasiecznik. According to the officers’ findings, the driver of the BMW, a 43-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, noticed smoke coming from under the car’s hood.

He pulled over to the roadside, and at that moment flames burst out of the engine compartment. The driver notified the emergency services.
The car was completely destroyed by fire. Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured.
