A 50-year-old resident of Lwówek County ignored a court-imposed restraining order prohibiting him from approaching his wife, as well as a ban on entering their shared home. – Despite previous interventions and a court verdict, he appeared at the apartment again, thereby violating the conditions imposed by the court – reports junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski.
She adds: – The order was imposed after previous incidents of domestic violence committed by the man against his wife.
Unfortunately, despite the legal consequences and the intervention of the services, the man failed to comply with the preventive measures imposed on him.
The result? The spokesperson says:
Thanks to the officers’ efficient and consistent response, the man was arrested and then brought before the court under an expedited procedure. The court sentenced him to 40 hours of unpaid supervised community service.
Police remind the public that court orders are intended to protect people experiencing violence and must be strictly obeyed: – Every violation prompts a response from law enforcement and may result in more severe legal consequences.
